Agricultural vehicles at night

Did you know you can identify an approaching tractor or agricultural implement at night by its unusual headlamp positions – close together for tractors and high and wide for combined harvesters. To stay safe consider the implements likely to be attached behind tractors. If you always believe that it has a wide plough, harrow or trailer with no extra lights you can take the defensive measure of allowing twice the usual width, perhaps pulling into a passing place on a narrow road.
